Business Roundtable Welcomes Passage of Short-Term Spending Bill

Washington - Business Roundtable CEO Joshua Bolten today released the following statement after Congress approved a continuing resolution to fund the government into 2024:

“Business Roundtable welcomes passage of legislation to keep the government open into early 2024. We thank Members of Congress for working together and encourage the House and Senate to secure a path forward on funding the government through the remainder of the fiscal year.

“We also urge Congress to act swiftly on restoring pro-growth tax provisions that have expired or are being phased out. Reviving these essential policies would increase domestic investment, create American jobs and strengthen U.S. competitiveness.”
